Antelope Canyon Tour Requirements & Rules

1. Mandatory Guided Tours All visitors must join a tour led by an authorized Navajo guide.
2. Self-guided entry is strictly prohibited.
3. Arrive early—check-in may be required 30 minutes before your tour.
   

🚫 What Not to Bring 

1. Bags (backpacks, fanny packs, hydration packs) are generally banned.
2. Tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are not allowed.
3. Drones are strictly prohibited.
4. Touching or defacing canyon walls is forbidden.
   

✅ What to Bring 

1. A reusable water bottle (preferably in a clear bag if allowed). DO NOT spill water anywhere.
2. Your phone for photos.
3. A mask is recommended due to dusty conditions.
4. Cash for tipping your guide.
   

👟 Dress Code 

1. Closed-toe shoes are required.
2. Wear layered clothing suitable for climbing ladders and navigating uneven terrain. It can get very cold in the Lower Canyon.
